Ranking of Arab countries in the index of freedom of the press Know your country 's ranking 2018

The Comoros ranked first in the Arab world, ranking No. 49 in the World Press Freedom Index 2018 by Reporters Without Borders, which ranked 180 countries in the world, including 22 Arab countries, and Morocco ranked tenth in the Arab world by Ranked 135th in the world, and Morocco scored 43.13 points from 100, and ranked in two ranks from the 2017 classification, Norway topped the rankings for the current year.

The classification was based on several basic criteria, including:



1 - the independence of the media, and away from external influence, whether the source of influence money or government.



2- The diversity of the media and the extent of its representation to society.



3. Legal framework for media activity.



4. Media environment.



5. Violations and violence against journalists.



6. Procedures affecting the production of news and information.



Each standard is calculated from zero to 100, and the best in press freedom is zero, and the worst is the cent.

Palestinian Territory: 134th in the 9th Arab World.

Morocco: 135 World's tenth Arab.

Iraq: 160 the world's eleventh Arab.
